Gavin Lew, Managing Director, User Centric - As one of the company’s founders, Gavin has been instrumental in shaping User Centric as the premier firm in the industry. Gavin’s 20 years of experience in corporate and academic environments have given him a strong foundation in user-centered design and evaluation. In addition to managing the company, he holds particular expertise in mobile technology, healthcare, and global research projects. He is a frequent presenter at national conferences, adjunct faculty member at DePaul University and Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, and the inventor of several patents.
Heather focuses on usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and user research. Her primary interest lies in the usability of handheld products with limited screen size, especially mobile and medical devices. She has led a variety of user research projects that have focused on mobile device interfaces, applications, and accessories, handheld medical devices, touch screen interfaces, Web sites, and interactive voice response systems. User Centric has helped over 25 mobile clients test over 250 mobile projects on a total of over 5000 participants.

Kim has worked in the User Experience Research field for over 10 years. She has extensive experience with both qualitative and quantitative UX Research through her work at Claris (now Filemaker), Macromedia (now Adobe) and VistoCorp (now Good). Kim has been a presenter at several conferences, including UPA, written an article for User Experience Magazine, been a guest speaker at the STC-Usability Sig, and an invited speaker for UC Berkeley’s Tech Writers Usability course.
