Managing Director Gavin Lew lead a two-day course on HCI and Usability/User Experience for the graduate program at Management Center Innsbruck. The lecture, Principles in Human-Computer Interaction, focused on research methods on a theoretical basis and how to set up, choose and adapt these methods in the context of a given usability study. Using real world examples, Lew also highlighted the professional role of a user experience consultant. The course was held March 17 and 18 in Innsbruck, Austria.
As a lecturer on faculty, Lew teaches on advanced HCI for the masters program at Management Center Innsbruck. He was the keynote speaker for a previous event held at the University. Lew is also an adjunct faculty member at DePaul University (Chicago) where he teaches a graduate-level class on Usability Evaluation Methods.
