Robert Schumacher Co-Presenting Workshop at UPA Conference in Munich

During this year’s Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA) International Conference, Robert Schumacher, PhD, Managing Director, will present a full-day workshop with Trent Mankelow from Optimal Usability in New Zealand.  The workshop, How to Successfully Estimate and Price UX Projects, is targeted for Experienced Practitioners and will cover scoping and pricing user research and design activities.  This highly anticipated workshop will give attendees a unique look into this complicated and often challenging task that UX consultants face on a daily basis.

One of the more vexing problems for usability consultants is knowing how to accurately estimate their workload and therefore how much to charge for user research activities.  In this workshop, we will explore the issues in scoping and pricing user research and design activities, and discuss approaches to overcoming common problems.
