Managing Director, Robert Schumacher will present an interactive workshop at the 40th Annual Business Forms Management Association (BFMA) Symposium. The workshop, Improving Forms with Usability Testing, will focus on practical usability testing methods that can be used to evaluate paper and electronic forms as well as other interfaces and print material at different stages of the development cycle. The session will discuss when usability testing can be useful, how to design a usability study based on the goals of the form, how to recruit participants, how to conduct a study and effectively observe user behavior and properly elicit feedback, and how to analyze the results and determine what changes need to be made to the form to increase its usability. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions, share their own experiences and practice their skills in a series of mini-exercises. The BFMA Symposium will be held April 26-29, 2009 in San Antonio, TX.
