Bob Schumacher, Managing Director for User Centric, will conduct a session on eye tracking at an Internet event sponsored by the Chicago Technology Executives Club. The presentation, “The Eyes Have It: How Eye Tracking Can Maximize the Value of Your Message” will be featured in the “Internet Marketing Best Practices: Leveraging your Web site and Portal” forum on August 24th in Chicago.
The seminar is designed for marketing, IT and business executives who are looking to use their Internet marketing, Web sites and portals to their advantage. Bob's session will emphasize the benefits that executives can achieve by implementing eye tracking as a tool to gauge the experience of their users. Eye tracking can provide insight into users' cognitive processes, offer more information than observable behavior (e.g., clicks) an give management a more objective form of information than user self-reporting.
The half-day event, which is also being sponsored by User Centric, will take place from 12:30pm to 5:00pm at 410 N. Michigan Ave, Chicago.
